Summer Art Camp Session 2
This summer students entering grades 6-8 for the 2018/2019 school year can
enjoy time to create art and have some fun at the Burlington High School Art
The art camp will consist of time to create, design, and explore art techniques.
This includes drawing and painting. Students will use their imagination and
observation skills to create one of-a-kind masterpieces. They will work
collaboratively in a fun and relaxed atmosphere with many opportunities for

Call for Art 2018 Young Artists Juried Exhibit
in conjunction with Middleboro's 'Krazy Days'
August 2nd through September 1st, 2018

Open to young artists entering grades 6 through 12 and recent HS grads Cash Prizes, Unique Exposure for Emerging Young Artists
Explore your inner artist and develop a variety of art skills. Activities and projects will change from day to day, and they will include drawing, painting, printmaking, and the use of different media.
This workshop is appropriate for educators of all levels, from those who have little or no experience to veteran artists and art educators, who can use the time for their own personalized artistic development using the classroom's equipment. As time allows, we can discuss how to apply art skills and content to standards-based learning on other topics in the regular classroom setting.

You are cordially invited to the Photosynthesis XIII exhibition, a collaboration of the Burlington High School and Winchester High School photography programs. Please join us for the official opening reception on Thursday, June 14 from 7:00-8:30pm. If you can't join us on June 14th, the show will be hanging at The Griffin from June 14 - July 6. The Griffin Museum is located at 67 Shore Road in Winchester.
This is the second year that Lexi Djordjevic has involved the Burlington photography students in this special exhibition. Over the past semester, students in the Photo Portfolio and Advanced Photography classes have been creating portfolios of personal imagery. There are ten students from Burlington participating in the show this year. The Burlington artists are:
By creating photographic portraits of themselves and their surroundings, students from the two high schools have been exploring their sense of self and place in a unique collaborative program at the Griffin Museum. An example from each Burlington artist follows:
