Photographing your Art and Turning it In

When an assignment is completed you will need to take a high quality photograph of your artwork.
Here are some tips:
  • Use the best camera you have (iPad, phone or teacher's camera)
  • The artwork should be neat, not folded or damaged
  • Hang the art on a flat wall or place on an easel
  • Set up art with light that is consistent and equal over the entire work of art (no shadows)
  • Make sure that your camera is parallel to the image
  • Take more than one photo and compare them
  • Check you pictures and select the most accurate one
  • Crop and straighten your work in photo editing app

Turn In the Photograph
  • save the image to your google drive folder for this class (create one if you have not already)
  • name the file with the name of the assignment
  • place the picture into your drive folder. DO NOT KEEP IN YOUR CAMERA ROLL
  • go to google classroom and turn in your assignment

Photograph before edits- DO NOT TURN IN A PHOTOGRAPH LIKE THIS!
