Congratulations to Amanda McCombs who is selected by the BHS art teachers as the school's Art Student of the Month for October.
We've been impressed with her work ethic in and outside of the classroom and this is what the art teachers wrote about her: "When she was a freshmen in our art foundation class, Design, Amanda McCombs stood out as a student artist, and she still does. Amanda is bright, articulate, and creative. Her work is detailed and refined. She was enrolled in photography for two years, and last year one of her photos was chosen by the Griffin Museum in Winchester as a promotional banner and postcards that were sent out to advertise an annual exhibition of student work. Currently a student in Graphic Design. Amanda is remains a fascinating person who can discuss any topic, and she's an active, engaged student who thinks creatively and can go beyond a single idea or solution. She's a fantastically talented young artist whose work deserves to be recognized."
