Our Alumni Artist Day on Friday proved once again that BHS graduates are artistic, articulate, attend top universities and are employed. We welcomed back many alumni who educated students about pursuing their passion as artists.

Graphic designer Laura Allegretto was employed one week after graduating from Mass College of Art. She discussed how much she loves her job, the perks of being able to work as a freelance artist from her kitchen table and how she is learning to manage her time, and finances.

Architect Jennifer Vachon is employed at Isgenuity and is currently working on Children's Hospital. She shared her impressive portfolio of work from her five year degree program at Syracuse University ( the #3 Architecture school in the country). Many students found her renderings of the buildings inspiring. Jen discussed her passion and love of her job.

It was indeed a proud moment for during BHS alumni. It proved the fact that BHS graduates are artistic, articulate, attend top universities and are employed. I am happy for BHS and I am sure the present students will learn a lot from the graduates.
