Congratulations to the wonderful students who participated in the 2018 Tenacity Challenge held at Bedford High School. The Tenacity Challenge competition consisted of four events centered around the theme of tenacity and leadership.

Johns. He is the former executive director of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans. The Initiative works across federal agencies and with partners and communities nationwide to produce a more effective continuum of education programs for African American students Special thanks to Principal Mark Sullivan, Todd Whitten, Social Studies Department Chair, Abigail Abbott, Martha Simon, School Committee member, Carlton Williams, ACLU, and Patricia Tilburg, Professor at Davidson University, for helping the students prepare for the challenge.
