Lauren's Bio:
I am currently attending graduate school at Tufts University and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, working towards a Master's degree in Art Education. I am thrilled that Burlington High School is where I will learn to teach. I graduated from Salve Regina University in 2015 with a B. A. in Studio Art and a concentration in Painting. I am a still life painter with a love for Art History, but I have always had the dream of teaching high school art. My ultimate career goals include teaching upper-level art in high school and mentoring art students through the college application process. I was inspired by both my high school art teacher and my college painting professor, and hope I can provide the same enthusiasm for my future students through the study of both Art History and Contemporary art.
