Congratulations to Joey Prendergast, class of 2015 for his outstanding poster that won the poster contest sponsored by the Middlesex District Attorney's Office and the Middlesex Youth Partnership, Inc. Joey's poster was selected from over 90 entries. He was honored today for his outstanding artwork that he created. District Attorney Gerry Leone spoke to students, families, and educators about the impact that other students can have on each other and how important it is to "speak up" and prevent violence. Art is a powerful tool to communicate a message and motivate others. Joey was able to just that with his artwork. Thanks to the Middlesex District Attorney's Office for creating and opportunity for students to express themselves and use art to deliver a positive message.
