Evaluation: Video must clearly demonstrate and explain the techniques Show a minimum of three different techniques Teach the technique to others Today you will divide up into groups of three or four. You must work in a different group than last time! Yes, I actually want you to get to know your classmates!
Your group will receive 50 notecards and scissors. Your challenge is to create the "largest" structure. You may bend and cut the cards in anyway. You will work on this for the entire period. Experiment, play, test and create! Have fun too! Please complete the following:
-download the google drive app -Set up Picasa account with folder titled "Intro to Architecture" 1. House of Cards Champions- send documentation and receive your prize
2. Course Expectations 3. Answer question- " This year I want to learn...." 4. Homework- bring in sketchbook and create cover design for Wednesday 5. Homework #2- collect paper towel and toilet paper tubes. Please bring in Friday. 6. Take card with the name of the famous Architectural structure. You will research this structure or building and create the following: -11" x 14" poster with a large color image of the structure -On the back of the poster please put the following: the name of the structure or building, location, date created; architect or group who created it. This information must be typed. Double check spelling etc. ** This is an artistic poster that needs to be carefully assembled and presented to the entire class Due Wednesday. ![]() Purchase and bring in a Sketchbook. It MUST be 11" x 14" and 60 lb or more paper weight. It should be spiral bound sketchbook with the binding on the side of the sketchbook. This can be found at Michael's or A.C. Moore.
