Half a Face -Sketchbook Assignment

Step 1:
Create a drawing of a value scale. It must include 10 steps and be completed in pencil.

Step 2:
Complete a picture of a face using pencil.
Process:

Find a picture of a face from a magazine or print from the computer. It must be a high quality image that shows a variety of values.
Glue the picture down on to one side of the paper
Use pencil to complete the drawing
Use guidelines and measuring techniques
Add values

For most artists, sketching is a way of life. Before starting anything, most of these artists would start using a pencil and a paper. As they draw into the horizon, imagination swirls into the cognizance, allowing the harmonization of creative juices. After sketching a more robust illustration of life, everything is set into place. The circumstances are above average in taking consideration of the creativity of the artist. Splashing into the canvass are pigments of blue, red, and yellow, integrating into one piece of art.
