Critique and discuss ideas 3. Select strongest idea and materials 4. Start creating drawing that illustrated your high quality drawing skills and understanding of space and depth 5. Edit and modify work prior to turning in the assignment.  Objective: Create an acrylic painting of a detail of nature on a large scale
Steps: 1. Select an image of nature in great detail 2. Place image in classroom folder for printing 3. Set up print, canvas and paints on the easel 4. Use a wash of color to block in the placement of the image that you are enlarging 5. Mix colors and place wash of colors 6 Add details Evaluation: 1. Use of materials 2. Mixing of colors, tints and shades 3. Ability to capture details of nature 4. Level of effort |
