Nature Details Painting

Objective: Create an acrylic painting of a detail of nature on a large scale

Steps:
1. Select an image of nature in great detail
2. Place image in classroom folder for printing
3. Set up print, canvas and paints on the easel
4. Use a wash of color to block in the placement of the image that you are enlarging
5. Mix colors and place wash of colors
6 Add details

Evaluation:
1. Use of materials
2. Mixing of colors, tints and shades
3. Ability to capture details of nature
