Charcoal, Paint and Pastel Abstraction

Objective:
Create two works of art that utilize the still life objects for the elements of an abstract drawing and mixed media work of art. 

Process:
-Create charcoal or pencil drawings of the still life of stools 
-Draw the negative space and capture accurate shapes
-Create one large drawing of the stools using charcoal 
-Draw the composition on large paper and then add paint, and pastels to capture and abstract the negative and positive shapes.
-Utilize complimentary colors with paint and pastel
-Use a variety of marks in the mixed media work
-Layer, combine and mix the materials to create a dynamic work of art.
